Skoda reduces the price of the Kodiaq SportLine by $5,000.

SKODA is currently offering its Kodiaq SportLine, a mid-tier SUV, at the same price as the existing Kodiaq Style model as the Czech importer gears up for the imminent launch of a brand-new model.

Now priced at $56,490 as the national drive-away offer, the seven-seater Skoda Kodiaq SportLine presents customers with savings exceeding $5,000, providing what Skoda Australia describes as “more value for your money”.

The Kodiaq SportLine comes equipped with a range of standard features including 20-inch alloy wheels, tire pressure monitoring, Matrix LED headlights with adaptive high beam, Drive Mode select, black exterior highlights and rear badges, aluminum pedals, sports comfort seats with integrated head restraints, a power adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, exterior mirror memory and passenger side tilt in reverse, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.

Optional extras for the Kodiaq SportLine include leather seats with front seat ventilation priced at $2,300 and a panoramic sunroof priced at $1,900.

Additionally, customers can opt for a Run-Out pack which combines the previous Tech Pack and Luxury Pack. Priced at $4,600 instead of the $5,400 for the two packages combined, the Run-Out pack includes adaptive chassis control, Park Assist, power-adjustable passenger seat, heated front and rear seats, tri-zone climate control, 360-degree camera, adaptive lane guidance, emergency assist, an off-road mode, and a sleep pack including ‘airline’ style rear headrest extensions.

Two service pack options are available: a $2,900 five-year/75,000km pack or a $3,350 seven-year/105,000km pack. The latter averages out to $414 per service including major intervals.

Kieran Merrigan, Skoda Australia’s head of marketing and product, explained the rationale behind offering the Kodiaq SportLine at the same price as the Kodiaq Style, following the precedent set by the Octavia SportLine being offered at the same price as the Octavia Style.

Merrigan emphasized Skoda’s commitment to providing unbeatable value across various segments, highlighting the national drive-away pricing, standard equipment, European design and quality, seven-year warranty, affordable service packages, and guaranteed future value finance on every vehicle.

He also mentioned Skoda Choice, which offers transparent Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) pricing available on the public website, allowing customers to adjust terms, annual mileage, and deposits on the website calculator to provide weekly repayments and a guaranteed future value of the vehicle.

The Kodiaq SportLine is available for $140 per week on a 6.99 percent comparison rate, with a 20 percent deposit on a four-year term.
