New BMW 4 Series Models Arriving in Q2

BMW has unveiled details and pricing for its upcoming 4 Series Coupe and Convertible models, set to debut in Q2 with prices starting from $109,700 excluding on-road costs for the 430i Coupe.

The current models are priced at $81,100 and $100,400 plus on-road costs respectively.

These sporty Bimmers will compete directly with Mercedes-Benz’s new CLE Coupe and Convertible, set to arrive next month at an undisclosed price. Audi’s A5 Coupe and Convertible, priced at $88,200 and $102,000 plus on-road costs respectively, are also in the mix.

BMW boasts about the premium medium-size two-door duo, emphasizing their perfect blend of driving pleasure and elegant sporty design.

The new models feature turbo petrol four and straight six-cylinder engines, as well as a turbo-diesel ‘four’.

Both cars come with new equipment, enhancing the interior’s premium ambiance with a cutting-edge cockpit design and the latest evolution of iDrive with QuickSelect.

Exterior updates include new paint finishes, light-alloy wheels, and uniquely styled headlights, with optional Laserlight taillights.

Inside, changes include revised steering wheels and instrument panels, new seat coverings, interior trim elements, and optionally available CraftedClarity glass applications for selected controls.

The 4 Series, distinct from the 3 Series, boasts unique design elements, wider tracks, and specific chassis tuning. It offers two individual rear seats and a folding function for the rear seat bench, enhancing interior versatility.

The Convertible model features an electrically operated panel bow soft-top roof, providing open-top motoring joy at up to 50km/h and opening/closing in 18 seconds.

Efficient mild hybrid engines, optimized aerodynamics, and lightweight design contribute to reduced emissions and fuel consumption.

The lineup includes petrol and diesel engines with TwinPower turbo technology and 48V electrification, all mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission.

M Performance versions feature straight-six engines, with diesel engines outputting 210kW.

Various M Performance options are available, including M Sport suspension, adaptive M suspension, and M Sport brakes.

The luxurious new models boast an extensive array of automated driving and parking systems and are manufactured at BMW Group Plant Dining.
